Customers’ Perspective

The ability to compare and contrast data from both companies and customers in methodical triangulation can increase confidence and validity of findings (Thomas, 2004). This chapter deals with the collection of views from numerous Bitcoin users.

The use of software Tweet Deck allowed for the identification of all Twitter.com users who posted “#Bitcoin”. Using the delivery and collection method on Surveymonkey.com a structured questionnaire was targeted those individuals knowledgeable about Bitcoin.

Keeping with the theoretical construct of Venkatesh and Davis’ (1996) technology acceptance model (TAM), and heeding to the guidelines of Saunders et al. (1997), 104 responses of individuals using Bitcoin were gathered.
