The freedom to explore the multitude of techniques appropriate to both the research question along the researcher’s personal preferences and resources available mean that with the proceeding Onion model will be used along with appropriate justification for each step. By starting on the outermost layer, philosophies, intends that the researcher works his way through the stratum of the onion with more in-depth factors to consider along the way before the final stage of data collection can begin.
